Evolution of a Brand


Roasters Coffee believes they exist first to make exceptional coffee, then to serve their communities and employees, and they do it well. They started in 2009 in Tri-Cities with one location in Richland to serving Eastern Washington with 13 locations across Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, and Spokane by late 2019.

The Challenge

As Roasters Coffee grew, they needed a clear identity and logo to grow with them. They required a mark that was reminiscent to their original brand that welcomed their existing following, but better represented how sophisticated they have become as an organization.


BrandCraft developed a new mark inspired by the cycle of energy that built their success – serving others first and they will serve you back. Maintaining a similar overall silhouette of their original logo while introducing new shapes, colors, and angles resulted in a new mark that nodded at their history and celebrated their future. The mark is ideal for the amount of signage they utilize and plays well into other touchpoints of the brand like cups, gift cards, and beyond.
